I grew up in
Topeka, Kansas with a big family and a love of golf. Since moving to Asheville,
I’ve developed a love for the people and the beautiful, natural landscape of
Asheville and Western North Carolina—not to mention the spectacular golf
courses that surround us!
I started my
professional career as an elementary school teacher in Lawrence, Kansas where I
taught 1st and 2nd grade for three years. During my time
as a teacher, I developed a love for working closely with my students and
building relationships with their families. I value and understand that there
are many moving pieces that go into the home buying process, and something I
learned while I was teaching is that every situation is unique. I enjoy getting
to know and understand each of my clients, in order to personalize their
experience.
After
teaching for three years, I made a career shift to a sales position, where I
developed and sold K-12 curriculum for a renewable energy company. I had the
pleasure of working with and training teachers and administrators from the
Midwest to the East coast. I focused on developing client relationships based
on trust and dependability in order to ensure every deal was a success.
I have moved around the country a lot, but I have never felt as at home as I am now. I love Asheville and am excited to plant my roots here. In my free time, I love cooking, traveling, golfing, snow skiing, and BBQ!
